Have you just seen a fantastic American action film on Netflix and can't get over it? Who says you have to? Of course, you can't just extend the film up to what you like, but you can find something similar. And, if you want that suggestion, Banshee should be the one!

Banshee has ridiculously irresistible enthusiasm, especially when it is a brainstorming mash-up of other TV and film properties. This American action television series was created by Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler. It started appearing on the Cinemax network beginning on January 11, 2013, which can hook you up for up to its latest 4th season.

The television series portrays some excellent intense and brutal scenes, enough for sticking you to the screen. The story takes place in Banshee - a Pennsylvanian town, where our main character - an ambiguous con (played by Antony Starr) - is seen faking the identity of the town's murdered sheriff, Lucas Hood, to hide from the powerful crime lord, Rabbit (played by Ben Cross).

The story portrays the tension between the characters and how it leads to several brutal incidents, including murders, betrayal, etc. It has an element of nasty romanticism where you'll find Hood attempting to reconcile with his former lover, Anastasia (Ivana Miličević), Rabbit's daughter. She has herself adopted an assumed identity of a married woman and raised a family during Hood's imprisonment.

Filled with dirty, poppy, and preposterous images, Banshee is a gruesome work of writers focused on making anything but a lasting impression. You would miss out on every thrill if you miss this TV series. If you haven't watched yet, it's high time to do so. Oh! Don't forget to get some popcorn while watching!
